Where is the parking brake light on a m2 truck?

Where is the parking brake light on a m2 truck?

If it continues (even with a new switch) you need to get it into a freightliner dealer to be checked out. That may be your problem. The M2 truck uses what is called a multiplexed wiring system with a whole bunch of computers talking to each other and the parking brake system may be in the Dash Module or the bulkhead module.

Is the parking brake and low air buzzer the same?

The brakes aren’t air assisted hydros, they are just hydro brakes with the parking brake being air assisted. Now, are the AMU’s in the same location as the AMV mentioned above… or are they the samething? IT is relatively common for the low air warning switch to wear out, it’s on the compressor, one wire switch.

What should I know about my air brake system?

-Brakes need adjusting, lubricating or relining. -Low air pressure in the brake system (below 60 psi). -Brake valve delivery pressure below normal. -Wrong size actuators and/or slack adjusters. -Failure of part of a dual air system. -If remote mounted brake valve, check linkage.

Where does the brake pressure light come from?

I believe the light and buzzer get there grd from the monitor module under dash. 90t and 90s should be the wire numbers. 90m should be a grd feed from motor relay that gets it grd from press diff switch and flow switch on booster. all three of them also go to the monitor module.

Is the parking brake light on on my m2 Freightliner?

I have a 2007 M2 Freightliner that just started yesterday driving down the road with the brake light on the dash on and the low pressure buzzer on while driving. Everything checks out ok other then the light and buzzer…

Is the low air / parking brake buzzer INOP?

As the title says, buzzer inop but warning lights work correctly and shut off at the appropriate pressure/parking brake disengagement. I always look at the gauges anyway but as annoying as this buzzer is I need to get it working. Is the fix replacing the FSWM or am I missing something here?

Where is the parking brake on a m2 truck?

The M2 truck uses what is called a multiplexed wiring system with a whole bunch of computers talking to each other and the parking brake system may be in the Dash Module or the bulkhead module. Hooking it up may have screwed something up with the module and it sees the voltage issue assuming you have low air.

How does the brake warning light and buzzer work?

In addition to the brake warning light and buzzer, my driving lights turn off and on in unison with the brake warning light and buzzer. A new development is that my electric slide outs (2) seem to be acting up in that I sometimes have to move the ignition switch on and off a couple times to get them to work.
