Is the 1991 Green Tractor 6300 a good tractor?
The 1991 6300 has a very nice cab, I do like my body style more (2950) but non the less the cab is very nice on the inside. Other then low HP and electrical fires in the reviews I haven’t seen much else wrong with the machine. Do not like the low fuel tank but that’s pretty common these daysl, I think it’s only a 540 pto but there are adapters.

Had a chance to work on the 6420 here’s what I found; while the tractor was cold after startup I engaged the pto, worked for a sec then off, ck voltage at solenoid, none, upon turning pto switch on/off the voltage appears for about a sec and goes away, bought a new switch/ same thing/ guess I’ll try replacing the sensor?

Why did my PTO stop working on my 6300?
My 6300 did exactly the same thing and ended up being a weak solenoid. To test you can swap the solenoids from the rear locking diff to see if it takes care of the problem. (they are the same) It was the PTO Selenoid.
