How many hours does a Kubota rtv900 have?

I recently bought a used Kubota RTV900 with a plow attachment to take care of a long, steep driveway this winter. I think it’s a 2006 and it has about 460 hours on it. The previous owner told me when I bought it that it needed an oil change but I know nothing else about how well it was maintained over the years.

It’s too easy to turn the delivery valve in the pump when trying to loosen the pipe nuts…and when it does turn, it’ll never run correctly until the pump’s rebuilt and then re-timed. It’s real easy to do it too and most times you never even know the delivery valve has turned until it does start/run and then runs like poo.

Where is hex Bleeder on Kubota RTV 900?

Just an FYI. There is a hex bleeder near where the rubber fuel line enters the injection pump. Bleed it there. Loosen the hex, crank engine until fuel comes out, tighten bleeder, then start the engine. It may take some cranking if it has a lot of air in it. IIRC the hex bleeder is 10mm on the old 900’s.

I took the protective panel under the radiator off the bottom of the RTV and could see that the radiator itself, the drain valve, and all hoses and connections were dry and tight as far as the hose going into the engine block. I then took off the next protective panel that is right under the forward part of the engine.
