What’s the problem with my John Deere 8450?
Our 8450 is getting very hard to get in to gear. Shifts fine in A,B,C,D. But is a pain to get in 1&3. It will either not go in gear or you get a high pitch grind. We did put both the shift cables in new. Need to split it put in synchronizers on top shaft. They are like little clutch discs that wear pretty delicate also but last quit a while.
When did the spider pin come out of the 8630?
Dad had the spider pin come out of his 8630 about 15 years ago smashed everything in rear end about that time 30,000 for parts. The local tractor wrecker had an 8650 trans complete he bought for 2500 then he threw everything in to make it a 30 series.
