Is the 100 mph governor a limiter or limiter?
True, the tires and drive train are the limiters. Any tune will give you the option to delete it. Be careful and have fun. Hola! Anyone have experience in shutting off the factory 100mph governor?

Most dealerships will reset the speed limiter for you if you have H rated tires. Most handheld programmers will do it along with a custom tune. But, I agree with the above post. Chances are that your tires are not rated for that speed. In my opinion there is no reason to drive that fast.

My dad’s 99′ classic z71 would cut off at 100. it sucks bc when i drive down to the city i do about 90 cruising and get it up faster to pass people and cant keep going bc she cuts off and shuts down No need to go faster than 100 especially in a truck.
