Back to the vehicles though….I have proactively sprayed silicone lube on the door hinges of my F-150 and my wife’s Durango for past 5 or 6 years. Do it probably 3-4 times a year. I think it helps. When you are spraying the hinges, are you also getting the mechanism that holds the door open and ajar?
