Chevrolet recalled the instrument cluster about a year ago. Had mine replaced ~3 years ago out-of-pocket (2004 2500HD Duramax) and Chevy reimbursed me after sending them my receipts. take it to dealer and ask about recall. they should replace at no cost…if the problem is actually the cluster.
