Why does my Malibu headlight keep going out?
I have a 2012 Chevy Malibu and the passenger headlight keeps going out. Not burning out, but quits working! I changed the bulb about 5 times before I realized that it wasn’t burning out. All the other lights on that side work fine. A few times I could tap on the headlight assembly and it would come back on.

What kind of car has low beams that keep going out?

Why is my headlight low beam going out?
It is when the circuit is completed by plugging in the bulb it looses power. In the fuse panel, I did switch the hi/lo rely with another from the panel and still have the same results. I am able to jump it and get the bulb to come on.
What to do if your headlight bulb goes out?
To test, plug in the main harness and ensure all bulbs are plugged in, then turn on the low beams. Twist and remove the low beam from the housing (CAUTION! Don’t touch the glass!!!) While holding it with one hand use the other to flick the base to introduce a “bump” to the bulb. If the light goes out or flickers the bulb is bad.
