It is located under the hood on the on the drivers side just above or on the wheel well or just below the drivers side hood hinge (that pivots open and closed). Fred, as it turns out, as I was digging through diagrams, the red wire going to the ignition switch (which allows this dark blue wire leaving the ignition switch to get power) comes from the same fusible link as the red wire for the ASD relay.

Most of the fusible links on this vehicle are located near the left front fender area. The green wire going to the alternator is the signal wire from the computer correct. But the diagnostic connector gets power on the dark blue wire which comes from the ignition switch.
Why does my D250 pickup have no power?
If you are sure that the alternator is getting battery voltage on the black wire and there is no power on the red wire going to the ASD relay, then we found our problem.
