Why does my Ram not have a fuel system?

The mechanic and service advisor both believe that the CP4 failed, it’s not providing enough fuel pressure. I have searched the internet and have struggled to find good information as to Ram’s either experiencing or not experiencing failures due to fuel system issues. I am looking for information as much as the next person. It’s a metaphor!

Is there a problem with the RAM system?

Fuel System Failure? I’m curious if anyone has had a fuel system problem with a 2019 Ram? My brand new 2019 Ram with 245 miles is sitting in the shop, apparently in need of a new motor, due to a catastrophic fuel system failure. Is this problem affecting anyone else?

Is the Ram Cummins gas pump still working?

Ram and Cummins have been INSISTING that the pump has been improved, but have not offered a solitary shred of evidence showing what or how it was improved. Thus far the naysayers have been pointing out that there have not been a sudden barrage of failures, which to my knowledge is true, but time will tell as miles are accumulated.

Why does my Dodge Ram idle so much?

Don’t idle it “excessively”…. Older diesels (80’s and older) they were prone to harder starts due to thicker fuels and oils. The thought was it’s easier on the engine to keep it running and minimize stopping and starting.

Do You Leave Your diesel engine running while re-fueling?

For example, at my local beverage barn nearly anyone with a gasoline engine turns off their engine and goes in but nearly every diesel owner leaves their engines running while they run in and then out. I see at the pumps too. The diesel guys always leave their engines running while re-fueling. I could go on but I think you get the idea.
