Replace the remote batteries with the proper replacement. If those batteries have never been changed they are almost 8 years old. Can a key fob unlock a Dodge Ram 1500?
I believe I may have just figured out the problem on my own key fob for my 2013 1500. I opened up the fob, pulled out the circuit board, removed the battery, and took a key and raised up the 3 prongs under the battery ever so slightly. This way, the battery comes in better contact with those prongs.
