By the design, there is no other explanation IF you have good heat on the drivers side.

I own a 2011 Dodge Avenger 3.6 engine. I have this common heater problem, heat on driver side none on passenger . I,ve spent well over $1800.00 and the problem still there. I’ve flushed the cooling unit, changed the thermostat, changed heater core and 3 new blend actuators ,one for each position on the box.

Hey Collage Man thanks for responding to my post ,My Dodge Avenger does not the dual climate control for the driver side & passenger side only one control for both. i have also looked under the dashboard while the car was running & key on engine off to see if all the vents & doors are working properly and everything is good .
What’s the temperature on the passenger side of a Dodge Avenger?
The driver side vents work great and blows warm/hot air. Warming up and defrosting the car takes a little longer than usual, which is frustrating (since I live in Erie and the whole nation knows what our current winter is like). The temperature outdoors is 5 degrees…wind chill will bring it to negative 20.
