Is there a problem with the 46RE pressure sensor?
It sounds to me like this is a common problem on the 46RE’s and these parts usually solve it. I had the owner of the shop change everything out today and things went fine, but the problem appears to be still there.
How much did Mopar sell the Governor solenoid for?
Interesting fact he told me was how Mopar originally sold the governor solenoid and pressure sensor many years ago, maybe when this transmission was newer, and the price was around $400 before they lowered the cost. I guess too many of them were failing and maybe they realized they couldn’t sell them for the same price anymore.
