2011 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn- Cylinder 3 misfire – exhaust valve lifter seized up and ate a groove in the camshaft. Upon inspection of the other lifters, cylinder 3 intake lifter was “clicky” and about to seize up, and both lifters on cylinder 5 were both “clicky” (hard to turn- the bearings were almost completely shot).

Great quality kit. I had my lifters fail at 100k miles on my 2014 Ram 1500 so I bought this kit, been running it for over a month now and and my truck runs like it’s new.
Is the camshaft a MDS or OEM?
But that’s my fault for not looking at it. The camshaft is an OEM mopar non mds camshaft, the lifters are top quality. It has everything you need gasket wise, it doesn’t come with the MDS solenoid plugs but you can get them off Amazon for cheap.
