Dodge dealer knows the transfer cases have issues but no recalls. The Dodge forum is full of complaints about same issue happening to least 20 others I have seen so far. I’m being charged about $5000 to change transfer switch and case now. But with so many of us why hasn’t this been recalled.

Can a 2 wheel drive switch switch to 4 wheel drive?

4 wheel drive transfer switch won’t switch to 4 wheel drive. The light on the 4 wheel drive transfer switch is no longer on and when I turn the switch to any of the 4 wheel drive positions it will not switch over to 4 wheel drive. Two wheel drive works OK. We checked fuses that might be related and they were OK.
