How is the oil pressure switch on a Dodge Ram?

It has been about 2 weeks since swapping the oil pressure switch and things are all hunky dory again. The gauge indicated 0 pressure at idle but went middle when throttle was applied. Swapped the switch and the needle is always centered now. Try not to break the clip! I tore it up a little bit but it still worked out. SO FAR, things are good.

Today we will replace the Oil Sending Unit commonly responsible for crazy oil pressure gauge readings.
