We got a Pacifica and learned the hard way that if the tow package was not installed at the factory you lost 50% or so of the capacity and that it has to be factory installed. Not sure, but when we bought our 2015 Citadel V6, we wanted to add the tow package to the vehicle, which was on the lot.
