Why is the rear gate on my Chevy Tahoe not opening?

No go, still not opening. I hear it trying to send a signal but it won’t open. Try with the auto switch off, nothing. It just doesn’t unlock. Any other way to get the rear gate open? Anyone with any suggestions? is the lock working when you hit the switch?
