Based on some the intermittent issues mentioned in this thread, I suspect that a software/timing issue in the ECM may prevent it from detecting the cruise control feature when it is “rushed”. I will try to recreate the issue, but I suggest trying to stop and restart the truck a little slower if the cruise stops working again.

The cruise control worked on the way home and this morning. The only thing I may have done differently yesterday morning was that I rushed the start-up going quickly from “off” to “start”.
