Why is the rear door on my 2006 Impala not opening?
My 2006 Impala is right now back at the GM dealer to have the left rear door opened again!! The locks will open, but the door will not, from both the inside and the outside. I have complained bitterly to GM Canada, but since my warranty has expired, the answer is basically too bad, so sad.
Why is the rear passenger side door not opening?
Its something inside the panel that isnt connected or is broke. A friend took the inside panel off and could manually open the door. There is a wire/rod that connects the outside handle to the inside handle. Its not connected or stretched or something. Did you ever find out what was wrong with yours?
How much does it cost to replace read door on Impala?
Their solution is to replace the latches on the read doors at $ 300 (plus labour) per latch. Am I the only one that considers this a horrendous safety issue?
Is there a way to get out of the back of an Impala?
Exactly, with a 2dr car there is at least a means to move the front seat back forward and get out but this would require some acrobatics to get over the front seats, if you could, I am 6’5″ 250, I doubt I could. Sounds like this is a sudden onset problem.
