The bulbs are good and I have checked all fuses, followed the ground wires and all are attached. Has anyone else had a problem like this? Howd you check the fuses?

Why does my Dodge Ram 1500 not shut off?
I Googled the problem, and saw multiple complaints going all the way back to 2000….seems to be a faulty door switch causing the problem, which should be easy enough for the dealer to change. My issue is, if this is a problem that has been documented for over 15 YEARS, what the hell is wrong with FCA/Dodge for not fixing it?
