Can a tradesman radio be swapped with a stock radio?
Can a tradesman radio be swapped with a stock radio?
The dealer advertised it as having the larger touchscreen which I knew was false because it’s a tradesman. Yes the RA2 is a direct swap, very easy to do. Takes no longer than 5 minutes. The stock non touch radio the RA1 does not have Bluetooth. It only has an AUX input. The RA2 5″ touch screen unit has Bluetooth.
Is the tradesman RA1 a touch screen radio?
The stock non touch radio the RA1 does not have Bluetooth. It only has an AUX input. The RA2 5″ touch screen unit has Bluetooth. The RA2 is better than nothing and I’d perfer that.
Can you do a radio swap on a Dodge Ram?
Excited to be back in a truck again! You can do a direct swap out to a 5″ RA2 Radio but you won’t have navigation. You can get a RA4 Nav unit but you will need to change out the bezel due to the larger size of the screen. I am assuming you don’t have the steering wheel volume controls.
What kind of stereo system does a ram truck have?
The Ram’s base stereo was a reasonably decent 6-speaker system. Options included satellite radio, steering wheel audio controls, Bluetooth® connectivity, a touchscreen receiver, a rear-view camera and, in the larger trucks, a rear-seat entertainment system.
