Why does my Dodge Challenger have two fans?
Why does my Dodge Challenger have two fans?
The primary one ran with A/C and ‘regular’ cooling needs. If the coolant temp got higher yet, it would kick on the 2nd fan as well for additional cooling. Yep, dual fans in the shroud that bolts to the radiator.
What to do if your Dodge Charger fan is not coming on?
1.Turn the ignition off.2.Remove the Radiator Fan Control Relay.3.Using a 12 volt test light connected to ground, check the Fused B+ circuits. Is the test light illuminated and bright? Repair the open or short to ground in the Fused B+ circuits. Inspect the related fuse and repair as necessary.
What is the ground circuit on a Dodge Challenger?
The (Z903) Ground circuit provides the ground path for the Cooling Fan series circuit. During High speed mode: The PCM grounds the (N201) Fan Relay Control circuit and the (N112) Fan Relay Control circuit, closing all three Cooling Fan Relays.
Where are the fan relays on a Dodge Charger?
Anyway the 3 fan relays are located in the intergrated power module (IPM) which is the one under the hood. For a complete wiring diagram Refer to the Wiring Information.

What should I do if my Dodge Charger is overheating?
If that doesn’t produce any results, start the car and turn the A\C on, open the hood, and watch the fans in front of the radiator. If the engine is at full operating temperature, both of the fans should be on. If it’s not at operating temperature, at least one of the fans will come on no matter what, when the A\C is on.
