1st Way:
- With the key out of the ignition.
- Disconnect the Negative battery Cable.
- Put the key in the ignition and turn it as if you where trying to the START it.
- Release the key and leave it in the “ON” position and let it sit for 10- 15 min.
- Remove key from the ignition.

Everyone recommends checking the main cab fuse as it powers the obd port. It’s still good. Ecu does it’s self check upon start up and truck still runs perfect, so Ecu is unlikely the issue. I’m running out of ideas. It has an aftermarket radio installed by previous owner.
