Where do I get cross over cable for my Cummins diesel?

Very well made. For the backup cross over cable I just bought 7′ of #1 and pressed two copper lugs on with a press from harbor freight and used their marine grade heat shrink that has glue in it, it makes a nice end.

What should I do about my battery cable?

Look at the different ends for your battery for sale. In the past, I’ve used extensions that hung slightly over the end of the battery and the cables bolted to this. Them if you have issues, you replace the fitting and not the cables or cable ends. Cost a bit up front, and most nothing after.
