If it has power and everything is running normally, but it shuts down at about the same time after every boot, then it is most likely a thermal issue. Try to go into the bios and check to see if there is a thermal/temperature reading anywhere on any of the tabs. Don’t be too surprised if there is not.

In the past I would have a problem of my computer becoming unresponsive after maybe 2-3 hours of being on, but it only did it about once a month or so. Currently, it wont make it past the window xp screen when it loads and when I try to cut it on again it will cut off at the start up where it says the memory, graphic card, etc at the very start.

I guess the motherboard cant be broken since the cpu fan starts up fine, so it must get power from the motherboard… It lights up normal when hitting the start button after 1 sec the cpu fan starts up as normal.. but after 1 second more it just turns off, maybe its some kind of fuse… but i really dont know…
