Watch the fuel pressure gage and see if the pressure is dropping off while not running. It shouldn’t drop more than a psi in a minute. If it is dropping faster than that then you could have a leaking fuel injector or a leaking fuel pressure regulator which is located in the fuel module (fuel pump assembly) in the tank.
