Take an 8mm socket and take the plug off of the solenoid pack and see if the van work in reverse and 2nd gear forward. If that makes it work in reverse, then you just have an electrical problem. I’ll try to find a pic of the solenoid pack in case you don’t know where to find it. Here we go… Just that one bolt and the plug comes off.
